Mickey Zinczenko

Mickey Zinczenko came to writing the long way around. After thirty years as a department manager at JCPenney and a few quieter years as a receptionist in retirement, she finally returned to a dream she had first chased twenty-five years earlier. The pandemic gave her the time she needed, and she has not stopped since. Today, she writes the kind of novels about family drama she always wanted to read. Her work belongs on the shelf of any reader who loves fiction books about relationships and books about complicated relationships built on secrets that should have stayed buried. She lives in Pennsylvania, writes daily despite an MS diagnosis, and believes in the simple idea that has shaped her second act: life is short, so do what makes you happy.
